Adv. Shahar Noah is a lawyer and taxation consultant in our firm’s tax department, with over 20 years’ experience in integrating taxation laws and accounting.
Shahar provides ongoing legal consultancy on a broad range of tax related issues for companies and private clients. He has personally and successfully handled tax assessments and tax decisions (pre-ruling) related to various taxation authorities, reaching tax settlements for clients while providing creative solutions. He handles preliminary permits from tax authorities, advises on issues relating to income tax and Bituach Leumi, and frequently provides legal opinions on tax related matters.
Shahar handles tax matters for our firm’s private clients, assisting them with local and international tax planning, voluntary disclosure, income arrangements abroad, residency, and relocation issues. He draws up client reports in complex cases, always aiming for the minimum legal tax outlay.
Recently Shahar has assisted dozens of business people in filing objections and appeals regarding the Tax Authority’s decision to repay the Covid-19 crisis aid grants, including filing objections and appeals as well as representation before the Covid-19 Appeals Committee.
Specializing in Property Tax Law and Compensation Fund regulations, Shahar has represented numerous business owners at the Tax Authority’s Property Tax Department from the start of the first Lebanon War and to date, including during rounds of hostile attacks in Southern Israel.
